Route - Day 1

DAY 1 Arrival in Havana International Airport Jose Martì , welcome and and transfer to private Bed and Breakfast in Colonial Old city (room with air conditioning,private bathroom). Route - Day 2

DAY 2 Breakfast , short meeting with our assistant . Havana City tour of 5 hours aboard vintage cars of the 50's . Walking tour of the old town ( UNESCO World Heritage ) through the 4 squares : St. Francis of Assisi , Old Square , Plaza de Armas and the most popular Cathedral Square with its antiques market . Overview of the "modern" city with its eclectic style which blends Art Deco architecture , old Spanish buildings , Baroque churches and residences of the 20th. Visit to the National Capitol ( faithful reproduction of the Capitol in Washington ) and the historic Revolution Square Afternoon and evening at leisure .accomodation in Havana .

Route - Day 3

DAY 3 Full day excursion to Finales Valley . Pinar del Rio north province, the westernmost province of Cuba and where it grows the best tobacco in the world. In the lower part of the valley there are large crops of tobacco, mainly conducted through traditional farming techniques. Along the hills instead there are numerous caves like the Cueva del Indio and the Cueva de José Miguel. This valley is a popular tourist destination for lovers of trekking and climbing. The rocky peaks that rise like islands from the bottom of the valley are called 'mogotes' by locals. In 1999 the valley of Viñales has been listed as World Heritage Site, thanks to numerous endemic species it harbors, both in terms of flora and fauna. Tour of the Valley, visiting the Mural of Prehistory. Lunch at a local restaurant. Optional visit to La Cueva del Indio. Visit in transit, the House Veguero and the tobacco plantations where you will learn the process of production. Return to Havana.

DAY 4 Departure by private car with driver to the peninsula of Guama '(Bay of Pigs) located in the Zapata Peninsula in Matanzas province. Inside the Peninsula of Zapata there are more than 900 native species of plants, 175 species of birds, 31 species of reptiles and over 1,000 species of invertebrates. Some of the most notable are local endemic species in Cuba. Zapata is also known for the local endemic Cuban crocodile (Crocodylus rhombifer). Within the peninsula there are numerous areas designated for environmental preservation, and Las Salinas wildlife sanctuary, which is part of the larger Biosphere Reserve that is a total of over 6,000 km² and the largest protected area, not only in Cuba, but also the Caribbean. Optional visit the reconstruction of a typical village that the origins of Cuba was inhabited by the indigenous Tainos built on stilts that can be reached after a short cruise in the lagoon. DAY 5 City tour of Cienfuegos, panoramic tour of the streets and the waterfront. the old town of Cienfuegos was included in 2005 in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical and cultural value. It contains six buildings dating from the first half of the nineteenth century, 327buildings dated in 1188 and dating from the second half of the twentieth century. It places the Caribbean with the highest number of neoclassical buildings. Optional visit to the Tomas Terry Theater, (1889), named after a sugar magnate of Venezuelan origin. The neoclassical facade has been renovated, but the scenario has remained intact, with its rows of wooden seats that can accommodate 950 spectators. The balconies are of elegant simplicity and the ceiling is decorated with a beautiful fresco. Visitors can visit the stage. Continue to the Palacio del Valle (built in neo-Gothic style between 1913 and 1917). Continue in the afternoon to TRINIDAD and accommodation.

DAY 6 City tour of Trinidad walking through the historic city that for its state of preservation faithfully reproduces the atmosphere of the colonial era. One of the most beautiful colonial cities of Cuba, was declared in 1988 by UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trinidad was founded by Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar in 1514 with the name of Villa De la Santisima Trinidad. It is one of the best preserved cities in the Caribbean, from the time when sugar was the main trade in these places. The ruins of Manacas plantations, sugar mills and old colonial estates are silent witnesses of past slavery. The tower was built in 1816, it is characterized by eclectic architecture. DAY 8 Accommodation at CAYO SANTA MARIA (Cay or "Key" of Santa Maria) is an island off Cuba's north central coast in the Jardines del Rey archipelago. The island is linked by road and bridge to the town of Caibarién on the main island. Cayo Santa María is well known for its white sand beaches and luxury all inclusive resorts. The island is linked to the mainland near Caibarién by a 48 km causeway constructed between 1989 and 1999 by Campaña de Las Villas.
