HAVANA - Guama -CIENFUEGOS Departure from Havana for the town of Guamá located in the Zapata Peninsula in the province of Matanzas. Inside the Pemisola Zapata there are more than 900 native species of plants, 175 species of birds, 31 species of reptiles and over 1,000 species of invertebrates. Some of the most notable are local endemic species in Cuba. Zapata is also known to the Cuban endemic local crocodile (Crocodylus rhombifer). Within the peninsula there are numerous areas designated for environmental preservation, and Las Salinas wildlife sanctuary, which is part of the wider Biosphere Reserve which in total is over 6,000 km² and the largest protected area, not only in Cuba, but also the Caribbean.
OPTIONAL visit to the reconstruction of a typical village at the origins of Cuba fù inhabited by the indigenous Tainos built on stilts that can be reached after a short sail in the lagoon of Caleta Buena. Continuation to Cienfuegos and accomodation in a colonial private house.
Breakfast and departure for a panoramic tour of the city of Cienfuegos the historic center of Cienfuegos was inserted in 2005 in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical and cultural value . It contains six buildings dating from the first half of the nineteenth century , 327 to the second half of 1188 and dating from the twentieth century. It's the Caribbean place with the highest number of neoclassical buildings.

Breakfast. Walking tour of the city of Trinidad for its state of preservation faithfully recreates the atmosphere of the colonial era. One of the most beautiful colonial cities of Cuba, was declared in 1988 by UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trinidad was founded by Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar in 1514 under the name of Villa De la Santisima Trinidad. It is one of the best preserved cities in the Caribbean, from the time when sugar was the main trade in these places. It is the remains of the colonial period and the slave, in which flourished Trinidad, constitute the main attraction of visitors walk on foot through the paved streets, Vista OPTIONAL the city museum, the church of the Santissima Trinidad, stop at the bar where you can Canchánchara enjoy a traditional drink whose recipe comes from the customs of the Spanish settlers who used the typical local ingredient, lime juice, brown sugar and rum. TRINIDAD-SANTA CLARA HAVANA AND / OR VARADERO Before colazione.Tour the city of Santa Clara , the capital of central Cuba , visit to the Parque del Carmen , where they founded the city in 1685 and the Leoncio Vidal Park . Visiting the Plaza Ernesto Che Guevara , one of the most important , charismatic personalities of the contemporary world history, and home to the museum and memorial that bears his name and where lie the remains of the heroic guerrilla .
Visit the remains of the armored train emblem of the revolutionary struggle . In the afternoon return to HAVANA ( to go to Cayo Largo NEXT DAY ) OR FOLLOW THE SEA IN CAYO SANTA MARIA or VARADERO END TOUR .
